Bachelor’s degree – From 1993 to 2001, studied at Allameh Tabataba’i University in Tehran, Islamic Republic of Iran, majoring in Economics of Trade (within the framework of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan).
Master’s degree – From 2003 to 2005, studied in the MBA Program at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics, majoring in International Business.
Doctoral studies – From 2006 to 2011, was a doctoral candidate at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics. Dissertation topic: “Problems of the Development of Electronic Commerce in Azerbaijan.”
From 1995 to 2001, completed undergraduate studies at Allameh Tabataba’i University, Tehran, Islamic Republic of Iran, majoring in Economics of Trade (through the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan).
From 2003 to 2006, completed master’s studies in the MBA Program at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics, majoring in International Business.
Since 2006, doctoral candidate at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics. Research topic: “Directions for the Development of Electronic Commerce in Azerbaijan.”

From 2002 to 2010, he worked at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) at the Department of Information Economics and Technologies (currently the Department of Digital Technologies and Applied Informatics), holding the positions of laboratory assistant and senior laboratory assistant.
Since 2010, he has been working as a researcher at the Cluster Development and Innovation Department (formerly the ICT and Innovation Economics Department) of the Institute of Economic Research under UNEC.
Between 2006 and 2017, he was employed at UNEC’s Department of Information Economics and Technologies (now the Department of Digital Technologies and Applied Informatics).
From 2012 to 2025, he taught at the Department of Business Administration at UNEC on an hourly (part-time) basis.
He is currently a lecturer at the Department of Business Administration.

On 26 November 2020, in connection with the 90th anniversary of UNEC, he was awarded a Certificate of Honor by the Rector of UNEC, Professor Adalat Muradov.

Research interests include innovation economics; the development of the information and communication technologies (ICT) sector and the use of ICT across economic sectors; issues related to the formation and development of the digital economy; sectoral development of the economy; the world economy; the green economy; and firm-level economics.
