Its mission is to prepare highly qualified engineers capable of combining technical expertise with economic analysis and managerial skills.
In accordance with Decisions No. AC-172 (dated 31 May 2020) and No. AC-173 (dated 14 September 2020) of the UNEC Academic Council, the “Expertise and Standardization” Faculty was dissolved, and on 19 October 2020, the Faculty of Engineering was established on its basis. On the same date, the Department of Engineering and Applied Sciences was created within the faculty.
In 2025, a total of 351 students were admitted to the following programs: Industrial Engineering, Food Engineering, Materials Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical & Electronics Engineering. The highest entrance score 605.5 points was recorded in the Electrical and Electronics Engineering program.
